Stronach acquired the former Tighes Hill Social Club in 2016 and gained Development Approval to redevelop the site into 14 three bedroom townhomes in two or three-storey designs, with three commercial tenancies.
Located only 4.5km from Newcastle's CBD, Tighes Hill has its own charismatic pulse with a distinct sense of community. The façade of Abode Terraces provides a contemporary reference to the workers' cottages that typify the local area.
Each townhome features three bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, private car spaces and a balcony or terrace with full height glazed doors and surrounds accentuating the expanse of natural light and sense of space. Each townhome feature a total of 165sqm to 240sqm of indoor and outdoor area.
Abode Terraces was designed by local architecture firm SDA. SDA's collaborative approach to architecture and interior design draws upon their local and international experience, allowing them to provide innovative and cost efficient design solutions.
The residential project was 100% presold prior to construction commencement in mid-2017. Abode Terraces was completed in January 2018.
