In 1927 William Stronach laid the foundations for the iconic Civic Theatre on Hunter Street, Newcastle. During that time he was also laying the foundations of the Stronach business - a brand that has resonated with the people of Newcastle for over eighty years.

Wherever you look Stronach's influence is a visible part of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley's history. Since 1923, Stronach has created many landmark buildings including Newcastle Police Station, Tower Lodge & Winery, the Kingston Apartments on Newcastle Beach as well as numerous shopping centres, cinemas and hospitals. The Boardwalk and Lee Wharf on Newcastle Harbour are two of its most recent accomplishments.
