King Edward Headland Reserve
Current Status: Preferred Tendered with Department of Land.
King Edward Headland Reserve is an iconic Newcastle site, situated on the headland between Newcastle Beach (to the north) and King Edward Park (to the south).
The site was formerly used by Newcastle Bowling Club and the now derelict clubhouse still stands as an eyesore to the precinct.
Stronach Property has successfully tendered to take a leasehold interest in the site. Our vision is to provide the city with a quality hospitality re-development, which will capture the sweeping views and re-invigorate the precinct.
